Dance Class and "Recital"

Fidget started dance classes this winter. We're lucky enough to have a wonderful community rec center that offers classes for her age in short sessions (usually 8 weeks/session), and it's a great way for Fidget to have some fun and to be introduced to ballet and tap.

The "recital" was the last class where parents were invited to come in and watch. It was really chaotic, and the girls are still working on following instructions. There's *some* technique introduced, but as far as they're concerned, they're just dressed up like ballerinas and dancing around. And there really wasn't anything for them to present after only 8 weeks of classes.

For LOK: Yes, I was so excited when we went to buy her first shoes and leotard that I had to choke back a few tears. And you'll laugh at the pictures to see she's the only one in a black leotard. Miss Jozia's spirit and rules live on! That's just how it's supposed to be. And yes, the "hairs" on her head were not pulled back neatly for long.

For Mom: The first is a video clip, the rest are just pics. And yes, I will get some video clips on a disc and in the mail soon. I promise!

This is A, Fidget's very good friend from school.
