Punkins in a Pumpkin Patch

Mid October 2008

We now live near Jones' Family Farm which is a great place for berry and apple picking as well as picking out your own pumpkins and Christmas trees. So, here are a few pictures of the kids' first trip to Jones with mom on a cool, sunny day in mid October.

Could never get them to look at the camera at the same time
Picked pumpkins as far as the eyes could see

Our decorated pumpkins. My favorite, though, was the "Cinderella" pumkin in the back. I didn't know that it's an actual variety of pumpkin. I loved the color of this one. I wish I'd taken a picture of the piles of them. The piles of these pumpkins with their pinkish orange hue in the sun was breath-taking.
