Dee, Oh, letter, letter, Oh

As we pulled into a parking lot last Saturday morning, Fidget looked out her window and started reciting the letters that she saw on a sign. It took Mommy and Daddy a minute to figure out that she was actually referring to letters she recognized rather than just babbling away. And while we were very impressed and proud, we both started laughing a little at the "don't know that one" placeholder of "letter" that Fidget settled on. Confused and concerned, Fidget asked us from the back seat, in the sweetest little girl voice, "you laughing at me?" coupled with such a sad little expression. We had to stop the chuckles and let her know that we were definitely not laughing at her!
