Clap, clap, clap...Yo dawg

While we were in San Francisco, Fidget and I got to spend some time with MAC's Aunt Carol and Uncle Jerry. They were wonderful companions and tourguides for us, but most of all, they were great at entertaining Fidget. They have a clapping game that they taught us, a game that Uncle Jerry used to play with their girls when they were small. He would clap his hands three times saying, "Clap, clap, clap" and on the 4th clap, his hands would miss each other.

Since we have gotten home, Fidget has begun playing her version of the game. She might clap her hands once or twice before she strikes her rapper pose. She takes her left hand and hits her right arm about where it bends, and this always comes with a tilt of the head. She's totally striking a pose fitting for a rap group. It took her slow parents a few times to figure out that she wasn't actually auditioning as a rapper but instead wanting to play Uncle Jerry's game!

This post has actually taken me over 2 days to complete. It's becoming increasingly harder to keep my train of thought while chasing the little monkey as she climbs over our "barricades" that no longer keep her out of the office space. They, in fact, have become great points of interest as climbing up and over is now a favorite way to pass time. But I will eventually get you back up-to-date with the latest Fidget adventures.
