It's Been a While, Again

So, it's actually late February 2010 and the last post was mid-October 2009. Time flies when you're not posting updates! Lots has happened despite us not writing a thing about it - at least we did take some photos! The next few posts will be an attempt to back up and record some of the memories of Fidget and Linus over the past five months.

Starting with October after the last post:

The roughtly 12 week long Stamford/Shelton b-day season was about 90% over the weekend before Halloween, with Fidget and Linus being near the tail end of it. Fidget turned 4 and Linus turned 2. Since we didn't want to tempt fate, we decided not to rely on the weather being as good as it was last year, and we went with the combined party at our local My Gym. This was probably the last year of the combined party, as Linus is starting to have just as many friends as Fidget, and we found ourselves with a maxed out list of 25 friends between the two.

Linus was not the happiest child at his own party, having been woken up from a not-long-enough nap to go run and jump and climb at My Gym in Milford. He finally perked up and smiled a little when the cake with Rocket from Little Einsteins was brought out. Fidget had a very good time at My Gym as she is now a good size to really play with the equipment and setups that they have. Her Mermaid cake was just like she asked for it and tasted good too.
