Peat & Repeat = Priceless

We have reached THAT stage. You all know the one--the one where anything you say is likely to come right back to you from the mouth of your own human parrot. Well, it's not like this is really a new trick, reference The Jibbering Fidget post; however, it could potentially be a bigger problem now that it's happening much more frequently, and Fidget is speaking much more clearly every day. My newest phrase for venting frustration while driving has been, "Seriously? Seriously!" Well, having this repeated from the back seat the other day certainly helped diffuse my temper.

Other favorite of late has been "Oh gosh!"

But Fidget is into sound effects as well. A couple of Sundays ago MAC and I made a team effort of trying to get Fidget down for a nap after church. Unfortunately our "two will be better than one" theory did not expedite the process. In fact, in probably prolonged it; however, the whole struggle became worth it to me when Fidget, lying next to her daddy on her bed looked over at him and then at me sitting in the chair when MAC began to snore. Then she put her head back down next to his, squeezed her eyes closed and scrunched up her face as she does when we tell her to "go to sleep" and began to fake a snore.

Struggle over going down for a nap: Aggravation and elevated blood pressure.

Toddler imitating a snoring dad? PRICELESS!

LOL!! This is hilarious. Did you keep a straight face? I think I would have been on the floor rolling at this point. I love kids at this age - they can take you from frustration to joyous celebration in the blink of an eye!!!

Had that been TR, he'd have denied it could have happened because he "didn't snore" :-) You're right--that's priceless!
